Singer / songwriter
: FUNKY ZOO Workshop:
This workshop invites children to become involved in a fun environmental story brought to life through song.
The story will be told about what crazy antics the animals get up to at the zoo while we sleep. Are the animals
better off in the zoo than in their natural habitat? So many questions to ponder while the story is told of a lonely
echidna who sees the zoo as a gaol and escapes making all the other animals question their life in captivity.
Songs include Ken's APRA nominated title song "Funky Zoo".

(NOTE: Ken will present this workshop alone and involve the children in some role playing of animal characters)
: Songs of Alistair Hulett Concert :
Ken will host and present a concert of Alistair Hulett songs performed by -
Danny Spooner, Graham Wilson, Martin Pearson and Ken Stewart
Ken met Alistair in the eighties when his band "Urban Guerillas" played with Alistair's band "Roaring Jack" at the Sando
(Sandringham Hotel) in Sydney. Their similar social and political views, passions and outlook on life led them to perform
many times together in the pubs, on the pickets and rallies over those years, most memorably on Cockatoo Island in 1989.
Ken, Graham, Martin and Danny will each play a selection of Alistair's songs and a give some background into what inspired them.
: Political Soapbox Concert :
Ken writes and performs songs with a narrative to engage and communicate with the audience.
He has played at countless rallies and pickets and regularly at May Day rallies including on the back of a truck through
the streets of Sydney. He always seems to have a song that readily adapts to the focus of the struggle at hand.
